Whether you are downtown at our flagship restaurant on 6th Street, at our scenic Hill Country location, the Hill Country Galleria, or our North Austin restaurant, you already know you’re in for an explosion of taste any time you choose to be our guest.
But now your gluten free dietary needs can be met while still experiencing our chef’s one-of-a-kind creations. The Iron Cactus Mexican Restaurants in Austin now offers a gluten free dining menu.
Finding good food in Austin is not difficult at all. There are numerous restaurants to appeal to any taste in this cosmopolitan city. However, very few of these are gluten free restaurants. And those that are have a very limited, boring and tasteless gluten free menu.
Our chefs have creatively chosen several of our menu favorites to include on the gluten free menu. We’ve done this for you, our valued patron. We know why you come to the Iron Cactus. We know what your favorites from our menu are and we realize that many of our guests have dietary needs that require us to continue to go beyond the norm.
Just listen to some samples from our new gluten free menu. For an appetizer, how about the Mexican Shrimp Cocktail? This is fresh shrimp tossed in citrus juices, peppers, with cilantro and avocado. Then get a cool but tangy Blackened Tuna Salad. Savor the Blackened Ahi Tuna and mixed baby greens, tossed with a citrus dressing, grilled pineapple salsa, mango-serrano relish. It’s time for your entrée. For that may we suggest our Veggie Fajitas? These are Herb Grilled vegetables with grilled onions and peppers, served on a sizzling hot platter with cilantro-lime rice and choice of beans. And finally, Vanilla Bean Flan for dessert. One of our favorites, it is Classic flan with vanilla bean and bruléed bananas.
As you can see, we take pride in all that we serve. We know that life can be challenging enough when you have to restrict your diet. We want to give you a break from the dull options out there. Like Austin itself, the Iron Cactus Restaurants and our new gluten free menu are completely unique.
